April is here & with it comes beautiful florals and fun festivities! Finally, this spring we were able to hold a fun birthday celebration for Emma… If anyone remember’s last year’s attempt at celebrating Emma’s day we had to cancel everything because her birthday hit during the height of lockdown. This year I wanted to do something extra special for her to make up for it and celebrate her birthday and an Easter brunch with the family all at the same time.
I knew I wanted to hold a little garden party again so I ordered as many festive spring-themed pieces for the Easter brunch from the Martha Stewart Living collection at Macy’s that I could. I love their seasonal products and their price point is always the best! (This post isn’t sponsored – I just love everything so much I want to highlight ALL!) I’ll round-up everything below although many of the selections have sold out since our brunch unfortunately. :(
One of Emma’s favorite things on earth is flowers – you can bet that her wedding will be insanely filled with flowers everywhere. (Can’t wait for that!) Keeping her love for all things flower related I wanted to order a few fun arrangements to scatter throughout our garden for fun pops of color and added fragrance (her favorite!). Of course, we hired my friend, Patricia to help design and make something sweet for Emma’s day. (Patricia’s shop Jam Jar Posies is currently on a hiatus but she was sweet enough to help us out on this one.) Patricia added a mix of spring florals in the most beautiful range of colors that highlight Martha’s floral plates. I love how the ranunculus, peonies, tulips, roses, stock, and more bring the party alive! I don’t even know every flower she used, I just know they are beyond gorgeous.
For the table setting, I used almost everything from the Martha Stewart collection at Macy’s! Many of the pieces that I’ve shared before such as the white dinnerware and the gold flatware are favorites of mine. They are nice every day looks that you can dress up or down. Unfortunately quite a few of the pieces that I’m sharing have since sold out like the spring wreath, blush coupe glasses, the baroque white dinnerware and the flower dutch oven. Luckily, I was able to find a few other options to help you achieve the same look. Hopefully some of my original selections will be restocked soon. Everything that was available I’ve linked below.
As to the food, I knew I wanted to add some delicious finger foods & tea snacks. I went to my favorite local Whole Foods and grabbed some coconut macaroons, easter themed cookies, fruit, cupcakes, chocolate and croissants! Jeff also made a baked french toast that was absolutely delicious and the highlight of the morning.
I’m rounding up all of the pieces below that I used for this brunch that are still in stock! Thankfully the clear coupe glasses are available & I found a similar flower shaped dutch oven to link for all of you. :) So cute!
xo,
Kristy
