I am dying over the incredible office that my friend, Sarah Stewart from Life on Virginia Street has put together. You know how caught up I’ve been on trying to transform my daughter’s bedroom into a hubby/man cave for my husband… Well, this room has inspired me more than I can say. It’s the little push I’ve needed to elevate my direction. Thats why finding the right style for you is so important, everyone works best in an office space that suits them. For that reason, always research thoroughly to find the right office furniture. It might just make you work that little bit harder.
Sarah changed this office space in her new home from her original plan (so glad to find I’m not the only one who does this…) and the choices she has made have taken her office to a whole stately elegant level. From the batten accent wall painted in the dramatic Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze to repainting even her own desk white she provides contrast and drama from first site. Each step adds a layer of richness that I covet in my own projects. I adore textures and layers and although I have mostly white walls, I find it important to have rich colors, fabrics and pieces to ground a space and give it that pulled together completed look. This office is just that from Sarah.
Enjoy these gorgeous photos of my all inspiring friend’s office. She is definitely one to watch and has a Blog full of creative ideas for all to learn from.

Such a beautiful and elegant space! Love the dramatic statement wall and that chandalier is perfection!
Aren’t they great Kaitlyn? Sarah has made this space just gorgeous and the care with each detail is obvious. I love everything about it. Hugs! xo
