Our new chandelier finally arrived last week and I can’t take my eyes off of it- it’s that spectacular! When it came to choosing a new light for our Santa Barbara home we had to be very specific in looking at the many different styles out there. We wanted a light that makes a statement but also one that doesn’t block our beautiful views. I tend to lean toward a more feminine, elegant look & style with my lighting choices and this light had all that and more. From the moment I first saw it I fell in love with the glass/gold combination and delicate floral design. It’s adorned with crystal leaves and flowers and stems that are finished off with gold leaf… It’s a definite show stopper.
I originally considered the Charlotte chandelier from the same collection but opted for the more organic shape of the Chelsea; our ceilings in this home are much lower than in our last and we wanted something that felt light and airy. It’s also a littler smaller in width. I found both chandeliers at Kathy Kuo Home which made my search much easier as I’m familiar with Kathy’s online shop. This is actually the 2nd chandelier that I’ve ordered from KKH. Kathy always has beautiful options and with a mix of price points. What do you think of this piece? Can you see a pattern between this chandelier and the lighting in my last home? Do you love a floral design as much as I do?
