There is nothing better this time of year than holiday baking! Our niece came through Santa Barbara on her way up the coast to her parent’s house which made us so happy! It’s become our new tradition, now that we live in Santa Barbara that she stay with us for a night or two on her way through and she and Jeff love to bake. This time around they decided to try a breakfast treat and let me tell you, you’re going to love this pancake recipe!
These pancakes have all of the sweet cinnamon bun flavor we love without all the hassle of making a dough. We use Krusteaz Pancake mix, it’s perfect because they come out warm, fluffy and delicious every time. We add an apple cider topping which really brings out the flavor of fall, this combination is incredible! It will definitely be a crowd favorite this holiday season.
To take our pancakes to another level we added the cinnamon swirl into some of the pancakes! The sugar cinnamon mixture caramelizes in the pan and makes a crispy sweet crunch that we all swooned over.
The perfect Holiday Breakfast treat! If you are hosting brunch for your family this year you have to give these a try. They are fun, easy and interactive for the kids.
