Holiday Coffee Treat – Sugar Cookie Latte Recipe

Thank you to Real California Milk for sponsoring this post and Happy Holidays everyone! All opinions are my own.

Inspired by coffee shops everywhere, Jeff and I decided to give this year’s holiday drink a try! This sugar cookie latte is so delicious you are going to love it! It was so fun to create this together and pairing it with other holiday flavors like peppermint and even cookies makes it extra festive – this may become our newest holiday tradition :)

It is so photogenic ;) We made ours hot but this latte would be great over ice as well!

The secret is in the syrup! It has just the right flavor to bring you back to childhood cookie making. It’s easy enough to make a batch and use it in your coffee all week long. It would even make an adorable gift for coworkers or neighbors, just add a bow and gift tag with instructions.

The simple syrup is easy to make and made the kitchen smell amazing! Jeff has an almond allergy & we prefer the taste of fresh milk any ways so this was such a treat.

Depending on your preference you can add or reduce the syrup to get your desired sweetness. Switching regular coffee for a few shots of espresso allows the coffee flavor to be the star of the show. Experiment with this recipe and let us know your favorite combination in the comments below! Show us how you’re making your holiday #MorningsMeanMore and visit Real California Milk’s website!

  1. This looks delicious! Did you mix the syrup with the Espresso & then add the steamed milk on top.. or drizzle the syrup on top of the steamed milk? Just wanted to get the steps right! Thanks much!

  2. Can this be used with straight Hersheys cocoa powder if you are not a coffee drinker?
Also, for gift giving, how much does one batch of the syrup make?

  3. Just my luck….a son-in-law who’s a great chef and lives in the wilds of CA! Nice to add the recipe tho……!
