Elegant Entertaining Decor Ideas // Fall Wine & Cheese Night

Entertaining my friends, family and guests has to be one of my favorite things to do. There haven’t been a lot of opportunities this year to host a large group of people over but I have been lucky enough to host a select group of close friends and neighbors occasionally.

I am all about easy… and having certain entertaining pieces available in my arsenal is something that I have really prioritized this year. It is SO frustrating when you invite friends over and you realize only a few hours beforehand that you don’t have anything cute to decorate/serve food and drinks with! I wanted to find items that would look gorgeous year-round – no matter the season but look especially beautiful during the holidays.

When hosting a small get-together, I feel like convenient charcuterie boards and a bottle of wine is one of the easiest food options to set up. Everyone loves a fun drink and some snacks. Having a cute set of wine or champagne glasses, salad plates, a cheeseboard & cheese knife set on hand + a vessel for beautiful flowers and a cozy throw draped nearby makes anyone look like a top hostess. Once you have these go to items to fall back on, it’s easy to be SET for entertaining.. no matter the situation!

I’ve been loving these cute metallic gold-rim glassware & tableware pieces that I found. They are so feminine and pretty for year-round use and extremely versatile! Another two pieces that I have at The Home Depot & love is the fun Acacia Wood & Gold serving board (cheese board) and the Copper Hammered Pitcher Vase. Both are the perfect size for any get together! The serving board can be used in so many different ways, but one of my faves is filling the board with an assortment of veggies, fruits, cheeses and crackers! I find that my friends love to nibble on finger foods like this and it’s a way they can eat healthy.

On the actual serving tray, I always like to dress it up a bit with seasonal decor (i.e. the pumpkin!) and some cute cheese knives. I found this adorable set of galvanized multi-color spreaders and thought they were fun to place on the board with this spread. I love the look of mixed metals.

The brass pitcher is amazing and can hold a grouping of affordable stems from your local florist or grocery store easily. I love that the handle is gold while the pitcher is brass. Once again I always find that the mixing of two metals makes it even more beautiful and interesting. One final decor piece that I picked up to help cozy up my space is this beautiful blush throw. I’m in LOVE with it. My friends always look for a cozy blanket when they come over to watch shows or catch up. This chunky acrylic throw is one of the softest and best quality throws I’ve picked up in so long and I think it would make the BEST gift! It comes in 6 color options, making decorating easy!
