When it comes to fall I think of cozy vibes, yummy dinners, candlelight, and time spent with family and friends. I love to entertain year-round but especially during the fall and winter season. Creating this Harvest Fall Tablescape was so much fun for me and I hope you love it too.
I know a lot of you don’t get the chance or the opportunity to entertain that often other than during the holidays, and that’s completely normal! What I’d like to share are some ideas on how to pull together a quick and easy fall tablescape using some classic basics (dinnerware, silverware, glasses) and mixing them with seasonal touches. For my fall table I found the majority of items from Pottery Barn. I know many of you shop there as much as I do… I love the fact that they constantly keep on trend with what’s hot right now.
My table concept began with this gorgeous plaid throw. I like to use unconventional pieces as tablecloths from time to time. Once I found this throw, the color inspired my entire table.
Pretty throws I love:
Adding a touch of color by using a pretty pillow is one of the easiest ways to brighten or tell a story with your tablescape. I snagged this gorgeous pillow in the color Sumac. It’s on sale right now! Click here to shop.
Love these autumnal pillows:
Cheeseboards are always something I introduce to Fall tables. It gives the space a cozy harvest feel. Today I’m using a mango pedestal style and love the warmth of the wood – you can also get this piece monogrammed. Comes in two sizes.
Table Setting
Using classic dinnerware pieces is something I do often throughout the year outside of the major holidays. It allows me to use busier linens and florals. On this table I used the Leila Dinnerware collection – I love the soft curved edges with grey beaded touches.
My Favorite Classic Dinnerware Collections:
On top of the classic dinnerware, I placed one of Pottery Barn’s cute harvest themed pumpkin bowls. I love to layer a seasonal dessert plate or bowl on top of the classic look to bring the table to life. Inside each of the bowls I placed an autumn-toned pear and love the natural flair they bring to the table.
I layered the dinnerware on pretty champagne chargers. I snagged the caterer’s box (12-piece) for $79 which is a steal! I can always use extra chargers for a second table when I have more guests. Napkins are some of my parts to setting a table. I like to lay them in different ways – sometimes in between the plates, with napkin holders on top, or on the side under the silverware. PB always has beautiful linen napkins in an assortment of colors. Click here to shop mine in the color Smoke Paprika.

You may remember recently I posted a fun Halloween tablescape using gold silverware I found from Walmart.. I decided to use the same affordable set again! I’m really into gold silverware right now. Click here to shop the set.

Drinkware
I’ve had the clear glass goblets for years and use them all the time. I love the simple style and the fact that they go with everything! Click here to shop the water goblets.
The wine glasses were a gift from Pottery Barn last spring when I went to a special launch party. Jeff and I use these every night and we are obsessed with their shape. Modern & elegant. Click here to shop the wine glasses.

Floral Arrangement & Accessories
I’m sure you couldn’t help but notice my beautiful flower arrangement on the table. I worked with my friend and local florist, Jam Jar Posies on pulling together this special floral piece of art for the grand statement of my Harvest Fall Tablescape. I’m in love with it and really think it embodies fall and everything that I love about the season.
The vessel I used is also from Pottery Barn but unfortunately they don’t carry the white color online. They do carry the red color though, which I’ve linked here. Perfect for a holiday tablescape!
To coordinate with the vessel, I picked up a set of 6 gold mercury votives and sprinkled them around fruit and the clear glass candles. I love these votives and have them in the white set as well. We use them constantly throughout the house year-round.
Lining the table I added my favorite small clear glass votive candles. They come in a pack of 16. The nice thing about these votives is that they are very simple and you can add them to any tablescape. Click here for the votives.
Pulling together tablescapes is something that I love to do.. especially during the Fall and Holiday seasons. Do you decorate your tables differently for each get together? Do you like my Harvest Fall Tablescape?Let me know in the comments below.
