16 Cleaning Supplies & Tools You Can’t Live Without

16 Cleaning Supplies & Tools You Can't Live Without - Best deep cleaning routine and cleaning products everyone needs in their home. Disinfect your home!

I know that many of you are trying to keep your homes and spaces as clean as possible right now.. I’ve been receiving so many questions asking what products we use so I thought it might be helpful to provide a resource sharing all the cleaning tools and supplies that we use to help keep our home spotless throughout these times. Many of the items I’m listing are on sale & affordable. Below I’ve rounded up my favorite 16 cleaning supplies & tools you can’t live without below.

I’m sharing everything from our main home cleaning tools like my vacuums, steamer and duster to more specific cleaning products that we use daily like my coveted magic erasers and more.

I like to make cleaning as simple and thorough a process as possible. Recently, I’ve had to switch up my cleaning routine to include more deep cleaning with my daily tasks. I’m sure you have found that having more people in your home has required you to be more on top of cleaning. Tasks that I’m tackling more of include vacuuming, wiping down countertops, laundry and running the dishwasher. It seems as if I’m always putting something away. I can only imagine what it’s like for the rest of you with kids still underfoot. ;)
Every other day I disinfect bathrooms and main living areas, clean the toilets and dust. Once a week I’ve been steam cleaning the floors as well. That’s helped keep the floors cleaner tremendously. This routine has been making ‘sheltering in place’ a much easier process for me to deal with and keep order. I’m sure you can relate.

If you have any other cleaning tools & products that you rely on & love, please share in the comments below. I’m always looking for new ways to clean!

xo,
Kristy

  1. You have given me so many great ideas on products and techniques…thank you!
I was telling my husband that you guys are like friends sharing ideas everyday and I don’t have to call (I am a terrible friend) I am trying to get better at it. I called a friend the other day and before hanging up I asked her what she is making for dinner β€˜we are juicing for the next three days’ no inspiration there…but you were grilling chicken and potatoes…inspiration at it’s best! Thank you

    1. Thanks so much Linda! It helps having Jeff love to cook that’s for sure! ;) There are plenty of nights we kick back.. promise! Hugs xo

  2. Thank you! I already use some of your product favorites! I really enjoy you and Jeff especially his cooking. I broke down and bought the skinny grill pan!

    1. Hi Jen, We LOVE that pan and use it constantly! It’s so nice having the grill option inside. :) You’ll have to let me know what you think of it! xo

    1. Hi Julia,

The marble in my bathroom in honed which is nice because it can take a beating. For the hard to clean shower floor (Calcutta gold and Thassos marble) full of grout I use Comet and a magic eraser. It’s strong but it does the job 10 fold. I use gloves and a mask and everything comes out perfectly.
For the main marble floor (Calcutta Gold) I use the floor steamer. If I see any hard to get off grime I’ll whip out my magic eraser and clean on my hands and knees. I’m a bit of a clean freak lol.
For my countertops I use the magic eraser and Dow bathroom cleaner. I have super strong makeup and everything comes out. I also haven’t had any yellowing issues. My countertop is Carrera.

      Hope that helps! xo
